New Chapter in Latvia–Türkiye Business Relations
On 18 September, the Latvian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce (LVTCC) officially opened its doors in Riga, bringing together representatives of the diplomatic, governmental and business communities for an important milestone in Latvia–Türkiye economic cooperation.
The ceremony was opened by Mr. Hakan Uzunosmanoğlu, President of the Latvian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce, and moderated by Mr. Can Bolukemini, Executive Secretary of LVTCC.
We were honoured to welcome:
H.E. Ahmet Cemil Miroğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Latvia
Ms. Iveta Strupkaja, Director of the EU and External Economic Relations
Mr. Gökhan Karaca, Commercial Counsellor of Türkiye
Ms. Natālija Juškova, Foreign Affairs Director at the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The opening also marked the beginning of a new platform dedicated to connecting businesses, facilitating dialogue, supporting investment and encouraging practical cooperation between the Latvian and Turkish business communities.
We believe that successful international cooperation begins with relationships — and our role is to help build those relationships into lasting partnerships.
The Chamber is now officially open.
